Each time/period in history needs to rethink and revaluated old accepted theories and thesis from new “days” advancing analyse methods and/or new facts brought to the “table”.
there are something re. thesis and theories you here presented on more or less daily basis: The argumentation for a thesis always must follow to essential ”roads” to be sound:
* Avoid all kinds of Fallacies in argumentation Remember that A thesis or an argument presented by a professor does not mean that the professor is credible because he is a professor. In other words: It does not necessarily mean that the professor’s statement, even if it is within his own territory, is sound and free from biases as well as independent of the influence of research grants from the interest group. Business, individual interest groups, etc. Authority is no safe criterion of credibility. Neither proposed situation arguing for consensus. Consensus isn’t a criteria for a sound thesis no matter that it’s possible that a sound thesis can change the old paradigm causing a consesus for a
* In science it’s never possible to prove something true. Only to falsify. This is due to the simple fact that each time needs to start from what’s known at that time and what advanced technology at that time might be able to give more information about.
