Den första i en artikelserie i tre delar om de faktiska bevis som finns för att Nordborna på Grönland kände väl till stor del av Nordamerika redan innan någon känd europé ens besökt de områden där de sk. ”smoking guns” kan användas som bevis över större yta av Nordamerika än vad historiker vanligen brukar känna till.

Leidarvisir and borgaskipan: ”… North of Germany is Denmark. Ocean extending into the Baltic Sea, near Denmark. Sweden is east of Denmark and Norway in the north. North of Norway’s Finnmark. … Beyond Greenland, southward, there Helluland and beyond it Markland, from there it is not far to Vinland. which some people think stretching all the way to Africa. England and Scotland is an island but is separate kingdoms. Iceland is a large island to the north of Ireland …. ”

From Biarmaland northward all the way until you reach Greenland. South of Greenland lies Helluland, then Markland , then it is not far to Vinland the Good. In Sweden we have the final proof that the Norse-Greenlandic Vikings not only visited L’anse Meadow on Newfoundland but also had knowledge of ALL of North America from Mexico over Mississippi Missouri; the islands south of NA in Mexican Golf and from Mississippi Missouri all coast round Florida up as well as Labrador and Hudson Bay…..
Final proof?
Well let’s look at the Official records for when each part of NA was explored and remember that the final proof not only prove that NA was wellknown but also had seen a carthograph drawing land on a map.

1492 Columbus first voyage reached somewhere in Bahaman Islands
1492 November Columbus reached an island he named Dominica and sailed around some time from island to island.

Nu kommer det i svart och vitt det jag skrev om i sci.medieval.history resp. sci.archaeology 1998. Utöver det som står i artikeln, så finns det, hör och häpna skriftliga källor fram till vår ”egen” Olaus Magnus i sitt stora verk skrev om att Kung Hakon drog Grönland förbi med krigsflotta….. då gäller det inte Hudson River som mindre än en kilometer från i artikeln beskriven vikingabosättning känd(!) av Vatikanen genom århundradena…. från 1053….som minst för då är de två bevarade texter som jag känner till skrivna.
Vad gäller aktuell utgrävningsplats finns den även noterad i samtida källor från1400-talet som en bosättning där svenska vikingar och holländare som tillsammans med basker hjälpte Grönlänningarna fram till deras ”nödfart” till fastlandet år 1435 (samtida notering finns i en sällan nämnd o än mer sällan läst Annal) Hjälpte grönlänningarna med vad då? Främst fiske av cod norr Baffin Island samt säsongsvis val- och valrossjakt.
ÖVRIGA NORDAMERIKA
Vad som hade hänt vet jag och jag känner utifrån lokala utgrävningar runt Hudson Bay samt biologers analyser av växtlighet runt Hudson Bay som inte är naturligt förekommande i NA + skriftliga dokument om händelser från 1060-1364 om ett antal ”norska” (skulle vilja kalla dem Grönländska) bosättningar runt Hudson Bay. Har samtliga med i mitt manuskript om Grönlänningarna. Speciellt rikligt är skriftliga materialet från 1100-talet. Några av de MS jag fått tillgång till indirekt eller direkt har även behandlats på Katolska seminarier i Paris i början av 1900-talet…. men här i Sverige är det tyst om dem. Precis lika tyst som det är om de nordiska fynd som gjorts i husgrunder på Ruin island och Skraeling Island norr om den plats som Jacques Cartier officiellt påståtts varit den första Europe som besökte och då först 1534.Finns en hel del ”roliga detaljer” i de bevarade källorna. Bland annat när det gäller det område som svenska vikingar bosatte sig på tidigt från nedan nämnd fyndplats hela vägen ner till södra Virginia…… en av alla detaljer är fyndet av en kors som gjordes en bit i från nuvarande utgrävningsplats när de första ”engelsmännen” och ”fransmännen” seglade upp för Hudson River. Även en märklig notering som tyder på att fransmännen träffade på en nordbo som de kunde språka på sitt eget språk med…. mer om det en annan gång.

Min första kontakt med informationen om vikingarnas handelsplats, 1 km från där de senaste fynden som nämns i följande artikel:

The workers were digging with a mechanical shovel near the shores of Minisceongo creek, when they stumbled upon the ruins of an ancient building. A team of archaeologists linked to Columbia University, was called to the site to inspect the findings, and they rapidly identified the site as a possible Viking settlement. John/Jon Scolvus seglats till Nordamerika 1476
John/Jon Scolvus is documented in one Spanish, one Portuguesan and som other sources between 1474 and 1550. Among the known sources who refers to the Spanish source from before Columbus sailing westward. Other known sources where John/Jon Scolvus is refered to having been in North America 1476 is the globe of Gemma Frisius and Gerhard Mercator’s 1537 globe of the world.

History gives more information than most are aware of. Including Historians of our own days. Roots from the past keep lingering on with or without our knowledge.

Thus it might be true that the Muslims visited America before Columbus,
but the Norse Greenlanders had been there long before as well as settled on mainland America long before. At least two dioceses in NA paid tithes to the Papal Church in 1364. More was known in 12th Century re NA than usually is known.

Biarmaland is an inhabited land which extands northwards all the way to Greenland. South of Greenland is Helluland, then Markland, from it is not far to Vinland the Good. * Either the real Vinland was on the other side of what’s now known as Hudson Bay. It could so be. Mind you. I mitt pågående val av vilka texter som jag publicerar i Norah4history om Grönland och Nordamerikas verkliga historia har tiden kommit att lägga ut den engelska texten som skrevs till sciencegroup på nätet 2002.

Kortfattat om det som kommer att komma på Norah4history
Lite historiska samtida källor som helt förändrar den verkliga Nordamerikanska historien:
Källa från 1435 som talar om ‘nödfart’ till ‘fastlandet’ från det vi idag kallar Eastern Settlement. Orden inom citationstecken är översatta till nutida svenska.
Källa från 1477-78 som berättar om en expedition till ‘Middle Settlement’ på Grönland. Dvs det kloster vid de varma källorna som under 1400-talet övergått till Birgittinerorden. Bland de som deltog i expeditionen var som minst en av Columbus bröder, Cortes de Real d.ä. och en europeisk adelsman vars ättlingar senare bosatt sig i Östergötland.
Källa från 1521 (!) som visar att kontakt fortfarande fanns mellan ett av de två dioceses i Nordamerika under Gardar Grönland och Europa. Samma församling som 1364 redovisades av Ivar Bardson för påvens ombud i Bergen då tiondet för Grönland erlades.
Då har jag ännu inte bestämt mig för om jag kommer att lägga ut de verkliga godbitarna som rör den Nordamerikanska historien utifrån källor skrivna från 1560 till 1640. Helt annat än vad vi blivit lärda. Källor som stöds av arkeologi.
