A quick review of the data is best illustrated if one takes an ordinary rope, measuring up half of Earth’s diameter. Ie 12 756 km divided by 2 and allows 10 km equal to 1 cm on the rope, you will get a rope that is about 6 meter and 37.8 cm long.
Take the rope and your students to a playground, parking, lawn, etc, and ask one of them to hold an end of the rope while an other ‘draw’ circle using the rope as ‘pass’. The circle corresponds to the earth. To understand the relationships between the earth’s size and our highest mountains and deepest sea widows, so check in an atlas, how high is Mount Everest. 8 848 m. Ie. On your drawn cirkel an equivalent of Mount Everest can be represented as a bulge of less than 1 cm. Mark less then a cm up from the circle. Then look up the Mariana Trench, the world’s deepest point mesured point 10 911 meters. In other words, not much more than 1 cm indentation from your circle-line.
There, you then see is how small a proportion of total land as we humans in general have explored, = relatively good knowledge good knowledge about. (The excerpt is from Course in Geology for the Swedish climate buffs, Norah4you November 19, 2008 itself is an exercise that I used as a preliminary exercise before the chapter on Earth in the geography book was taught for students to learn)
From the globe exercises drawn in two dimensions remember that we look at the surface trediminesionellt roughly is 70.8% water, and the rest land, continents, small islands, delta close to river outstreaming not quite 29%,. The continents whose origin can be obtained from the continent of Pangea, which due to various forces of gravity, centrifugal force, tectonic plates against the friction we for simplicity this may be called ‘mantle’ floats on.
I used to teach this for 7th graders, please ignore for the moment evidence for Pangea, the forerunners Proto-Laurasia and Proto-Godwana and Congo-Croton, the three essential tektioniska plates to the collision, crawling under each of each other and gnawing on each other, formed Pangea originally . I can therefore directly to the simple exercise of 7th grade students who have substance-stage and qualified teachers should have with them and discussed:
If all the students are gathered in one group in the center of the drawn circle, they can roughly be said to correspond to Pangea gathered in the sole side of the sphere we can see. I will not go add more here. I reached my goal having presented in sketched form the different types of boundaries where earthquakes and volcanic eruptions can and most often occur.
over to some chemical facts about our earth.
The substances which are most prevalent in our farming broadly rounded presented during chemistry lessons in percentages:
34.6% Iron
29.5% Oxygen
15.2% Silicon
12.7% Magnesium
2.4% Nickel
1.9% Sulfur
0.05% Titanium

0.018% Coal (which is one of our 20 most common elements on Earth)
Carbon occurs in a variety of forms :
amorphous, diamond, graphite and ”white” carbon, fullerene (premium for 7th graders, but may be mentioned)
Coal ‘react’ to form together with other elements including SiC, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and cyanide and Carbonates occur in more or less, however, extremely rare in completely clean as a fuel in solid form.
The human body consists roughly rounded by:
Oxygen 56.1%
Coal 28.0%
Hydrogen 9.3%
Then comes in smaller percentages (from 2% and down
Nitrogen
Calcium
Phosphorus
Chlorine
Iodine, flour, manganese, sulfur,
Potassium, sodium, magnesium,
iron, aluminum, lead, copper,
silver and tin
From our rock is the coal of the elements are broken down by erosion (wind and temperature erosion is the one usually mentioned for 7th graders.)
This was a brief review of the facts that everyone who passed 7th class should have with them. This also applies to the so-called. scientists who believe in the CO-2 threat.
The carbon cycle, water cycle o.s.v. each student who comes up at 7: an have learned about before. As well as photosynthesis.
In theory, the amount of CO2 given to the oxygen and carbon in the compound does not react with the same or other chemical elements to protrude up to more than 1.4%. Now chemical reactions do occur in air, the atmosphere of different layers, water from streams down to the sea over the CO2 through water evaporation ‘captured’ and passed on the water cycle, soil, rock, ‘land’, from humus layer down to bedrock, etc. makes this figure into something that is not even worth the paper it is possible to write on. The reality is that, overall, is sannorlikheten (use Tjebychevs thesis) that we found right at 90% minimum figure for more than 0.9% given the large number of people who now exist on earth and in their cells bind much of the carbon does not exist in free form, liquid or solid with different percentages or in any of the previously listed forms of carbon in nature.
Up to now I have not mentioned one of the most important thing. What every scientist should know:
Even if A (carbon monoxide) were shown to affect the temperature of B (a private place on earth), which has not been proven to be without doing. (Note: read was this done. That is not greenhouse gases, which of course is a prerequisite if we are to live on earth. Not noble gases, which is shown along with greenhouse gases could alter the temperature locally under certain given conditions, which I do not go into here),
AND
The individual sites B1 and B2 …….. B (x) together may rise in temperature,
SO
it is thus proven that CO2 itself is what could be behind a non-proven C (average temperature increase on earth)!
Why is this not proven?
Read the initial data once more. 70.8% of the earth’s surface is water in oceans. To obtain accurate temperature data, which is not going to get from space where the reflection of energy is what is actually measured, so there must be a large number of stations on the major part of the earth’s surface. These measurement stations must have been stationary for more than 3 cycles of at least 60 years (not 30 as weatherman has the ability to use), which did not exist in the same place in the oceans in terms of longitude and latitude.
I have not included the fact that present used number of stations in the country to a large extent, the Antarctic and the Arctic and much of the inland Australia never were on same place before 1959 as science-stations in the inner of the continents, nor that the number today is far too small and of variable quality, to not take into account the measurements made at the same height above the surface, the level above sea level the existing ”in, land surface characteristics or fish habitat and the chemical nature of this has, uplift, Archimedes principle, etc. etc.
IMPORTANT
A true scientist can philosophy of science. Know that the ad hoc and ad hominem are not allowed in scientific debate as fundamentally non-valid argument without indicating the absence of same. A true scholar of the valid argument that at least for deeper analysis, performed by the hypothesis all the premises that need to be shown to be true, can lead to a sustainable conclusion. A true scientist knows that you never get correct raw data so far not proved (which was not done by any of those who call themselves climate researcher’s page) that all data are treated exactly the same and that correction is needed and why. A true scientist knows that all stages, from hypothesis through valid arguments to a sustainable conclusion must be available in the report or given to the source reference for other researchers to analyze arguments, premises and the conclusion drawn. As anyone who knows his philosophy of science at least the basic course to the same knowledge, this is not circular evidence allowed in any of the points from the hypothesis of a valid conclusion.
