On my way to my daughers summerhouse close to the Norwegian border,
only a few km from the end of the motorway’s partial ending in Tanum’s parish,
on two reflex sticks close by the roadside,
sat a yearling white-tailed eagles and 10 poles away a goshawk.
Sat calmly and looked more on the roadway forward and backward than the relatively dense traffic.
The stretch is one where many animals crossing roadways.
Could it be that,
that the custom for many years a sea-eagle family has between preforming on an alike motorway from Ödeshög tod Mjölby along the E4 east of Lake Vättern has spread to wild birds here in Western parts of Sweden?
Have our wild birds started to become so ”lazy” because they want the food served?
Great to see at such close range the birds are no matter what. Especially when extending on a wing at a time to allow the wind to blow the feathers in their wings
